Terms and Conditions

• I/We shall have no liability for any delay or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control. The following shall be considered to be such circumstances: War or threat of war, accidents causing delays, exceptional weather conditions, fire and/or damage at a station, compliance with requests to the police, customs (or) other government officials and security services, deaths and accident, vandalism and terrorism, unforeseen traffic delays, strike/industrial action, riot or local disturbance or unrest problems caused by other participants, and other circumstances affecting participant safety. We are not responsible for personal injury or loss of life owing to any reason during the Parikrama. In any eventuality, the program coordinator will intimate the person given in the application as family member/concerned person by fast mode of communication such SMS or email to their contact number. The relative/concerned person may call back and obtain more information.

• Terms include any oral/written communication given from time to time. Any dispute or legal proceedings shall be resolved amicably by arbitration under Arbitration Act, 1940 and issues unresolved post arbitration will be subject to jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore only.

Other Terms and Conditions

• ISKCON Parikrama Department., does not accept any responsibility for delay or change, missed connection, political disturbance, strike, war, natural calamities, injury, death, sickness, accident, theft, consequential loss or expenses borne by the participants.

• ISKCON Parikrama Department, on behalf of its management, employees, agents and representatives notify, that no liability will be attached for the loss of person or property caused or damaged or suffered by the customer on account of deficiency in service rendered or to be rendered by the consent contractors or suppliers of such services including carriers and arranged hotels.

• Parikrama will be confirmed subject to a minimum of break-even points depending on the capacity of the vehicle; otherwise we hold the right to cancel the Parikrama. Cancellation will be informed to you 10 days before the actual departure.

• ISKCON Parikrama Department, does not undertake any responsibility for non-reimbursement of LFC/LTC Claims.

• All contents of this brochure are based on the information available at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change any brochure - information due to any event beyond our control.

Declaration

I and the above participants hereby declare that I/we will abide by the rules and regulations stated below during the Parikrama. I/we understand clearly the terms and conditions listed.

• I/we will be solely responsible for my luggage and valuables, if any.

• I/we will strictly follow the schedule throughout the Parikrama and be punctual.

• I/we certify that to the best of my knowledge, the informationprovided while registering or applying is true, accurate and complete and any falsification subjects me to the offense of making a written false statement.

• I acknowledge that the decision to travel is mine and that I/we, therefore, assume liability for any loss or damage that may be incurred.

• I/we understand that in the case of any medical emergency, Parikrama Coordinator though may do their best possible effort, I/we shall be solely responsible for consequences and no claim shall lie against them from me or my relatives.

• I/we hereby understate that at all times during the ParikramaI/we will not do any illegal or immoral activity.

• I/we will not carry any inflammable item.

• I/we shall indemnify fellow participants for any loss or claim owing to my conduct/ misconduct/indiscipline.

• I/we understand, I/we will take appropriate Travel insurance for my family and valuables.

Rules and Regulations

• ISKCON Parikrama is being conducted purely for strengthening and enlivening our spiritual consciousness and to progress in devotional service.

• Maintain devotional consciousness and not just sight-seeing.

• Do not preach about your own beliefs/religion/rituals/spirituality which is contrary to the essence of the Vedic Literatures. Such discussions/clarifications are allowed at the end of the lectures/discourses during the Parikrama

• During the entire Parikrama every participants are requested to follow – No meat eating, No intoxication including tea and coffee, No illicit sex and No gambling.

• Dress code –Indian Traditional Dress -Men (Kurta-Pajama/Dhoti) Women (Saree, Chudidhar-Dupatta). Avoid skirts, minis, shorts & other fancy dresses.

• The Parikrama gives opportunity for people to be together and spend time together for considerable time. However, do not get into developing mundane love relations/illicit relations/make or propose business with Fellow Pilgrims.Failing which, the Parikrama organiser reserves the right to cancel the Parikrama of the pilgrim without any refund of amount.

• Lectures and discourses will be in English.

• Senior citizens who require special requirements like dolis/autos/coolies during the journey should bear the extra expenses for the same during the time of journey.

• ISKCON Parikrama Department does not undertake any responsibility if the places of visit which is mentioned in itinerary is not covered by any reason.

• Any person more than 70 years should be accompanied by a guardian or family member.

• Participants are requested to carry original photo ID cards, valid passport, visas during journey.

• For Flight tickets – standard rules of Booked Flight Company Rules will apply.

• Balance amount should be paidby 30th of December online from the website to “Sri Krishna Balarama Seva Trust” or else your seat will be allotted to some other participant without your consent.

• Parikrama Fares are subject to change with or without notice depending on the Central -State Govt. Budget effects. Rates prevailing on the date of departure will apply.

• Right of allotment of seats reserved. ISKCON Parikrama department reserves unconditional rights to refuse bookings or terminate participant on Parikrama in the event of unreasonable behaviour at any time.

• Parikrama timings and itinerary are subject to change. Consequently, it may be revised at any time during the Parikrama, with or without notice depending upon the exigencies of occasion. We will inform you these amendments prior to the start of the Parikrama or on Parikrama. No grievances regarding any itinerary/ service change which we are constrained to make will be entertained from the Parikrama participants during or after the Parikrama.

Accommodation

We book standard & decent rooms with twin sharing / maximum of three sharing basis. We may book dormitories at some remote places OR places where it suites the Parikrama route plan. Pilgrims have to adjust accordingly. Extra person in a room will be provided with a mattress/bed. Pilgrims, who arrive early OR depart late at the accommodation destination by their own travel arrangements, have to pay extra charges for the days they need the guest house. Handpicked good hotels all offering private bath are specifically chosen keeping in mind the comforts of the participants. Some of the hotels may be located in the cities, but to provide with comfortable hotels and reasonable prices, it is often necessary to use hotels away from city centers. In some cases, the hotels/accommodation may not have all amenities like hot water, extra beds, etc. Participants have to adjust with the accommodation and not demand the Parikramamanagement for better accommodation.

Parikrama Extension Policy

• If due to any reason, like cancellation of flights due to unavoidable weather circumstances, or travel restriction by the Govt., the Parikrama is extended, all pilgrims have to pay extra of Rs.5000/day which has to be paid during the Parikrama. Extension of the Parikrama is right of Management.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If due to any circumstances or personal reasons you may have to cancel your Parikrama, the cancellation request must be sent to us in email at [email protected]

• The following cancellation charges are applicable:

  • Cancellation after 1st of February 2024 – No refund

  • Cancellation after 15th of January 2024 – 80 % cancellation charges and 20% refund. (If case of finding a replacement 50% refund)

  • Cancellation after 20th December – 50% cancellation charges and 50% refund.

  • Cancellation after 1st of December – 25% cancellation charges and 75% refund.

  • Cancellation before 30th November - 100% refund.

• If the participants discontinue journey while on Parikrama, cancellation should be given by writing by the pilgrim, unused portion of the Parikrama amount will not be refunded.

• If the Parikrama is cancelled by ISKCON management, due to any unavoidable, unforeseen circumstances, the refund will be limited to whatever is recovered by the management from the tour organisers.
